Jeremy Force, MD
Medical Instructor in Breast Oncology
Duke University Medical Center
Dr. Jeremy Force is diligently working towards becoming an independent academic clinical investigator and leader in the field of breast cancer immunotherapy. Towards that end, his research is focused on investigating how the immune system can be used to benefit breast cancer patients. There are three main areas he is focused on, which have spurred several collaborative efforts. First, he is elucidating the immune repertoire in the tumor microenvironment of hereditary breast cancers for therapeutic benefit. Second, he is defining immunologic signatures that predict disease outcomes in breast cancer patients. And third, he is investigating infectious etiologies as a potential mechanism for inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) development and determining how this information will inform treatment paradigms of IBC.
